Hey guys, Sorry if I am repeating my question. But I just filed my taxes and made only $22,000 but I have started a new job that pays a higher salary. So I shouldn't need a sponsor since it will only just the two of us. Should I have my new employer write me a letter or can I just make a copy of my offer letter and my paystubs to show proof with the my copy of 2012 income taxes? Any advice on what I should do?

Enter your CURRENT annual income where it asks, which is how much you make right now at your new job. If you are paid hourly, multiply how much you make an hour by how many hours you work a week. Take that weekly amount and multiply it by 52 weeks to get your current annual income, Provide a letter from your employer and most recent pay stubs to prove your current income. You will of course also provide a copy of your complete 2012 taxes with all forms and W-2s and/or 1099s. You made enough for a household of 2 last year, so if you make more now, then you are in good shape.
