I called today for a service request because the time changed from 6 months to 6.1 (.1 equals 3 days) so today was 6 months and 4 days for us. I was told that VSC was 38 days behind and the 6.1 was just a goal. If I do not receive an NOA2 after 38 more days then at that time I can ask for a service request.

May God bless and keep you always~ May your wishes all come true~ May you always do for others~ And let others do for you~

May you build a ladder to the stars~ And climb on every rung~May you stay forever young

Don't give up hope guys. It's coming. In the meantime, get your Packet 3 info started because from my experience, once you get your NOA-2 it goes at lightning speed. My NOA-1 was August 2nd, I got my NOA2 on Jan. 29th, and my packet 3 gets mailed out tomorrow.

Hi all,

I got my NOA1 on Aug 9... when we check our case status online, it shows that "Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives."

Anyone know what does it mean?

Thanks!
