Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anyone have gone through voice prompt of USCIS's 800 number. After all those touches (Nov 1,2,3 and 4th) since the case has transfered to VSC on Oct 23rd, there no any updates and touches since then. I decided to call USCIS today and went through automated process. I was really hoping that my case has been approved already, instate my case is in pending and costumer service representative will not have no more information about my case..... you know what I mean! So I didn't think talking to CSR and hung up the phone. Anyone is experencing this kind of issue? Your imput will be highly appriciated.

I haven't been touched lately, but my case was transferred on Oct. 4th, and I still haven't been approved. I've only seen one approval after being transferred that I know of.

The online service and staff can only tell you exactly what you can already see on the online status, unfortunately.

Normal is the waiting time. Your NOA1 was received less than a month ago. Look at the processing times, you may have a long wait ahead. Have patience or you will drive yourself crazy. Good luck.

Hello Everyone, It seems I have the same situation as you two have. I filed my I-130 to VT center, then I-129F to Chicago and i recived the NOA1, then over this weekend, I got email that they have transfered it to VT center. Don’t they process the I-129F (Spouse) in Chicago? If so, why did they transfer it VT center? Is that a good sign or not? I will appreciate your answer.

Yeah! it seems like not too good sign. I've been looking the timeline of VSC and they seems like working on K-1 only. Anyway at least it's moving and finger crossed for approval eventually. I wish I had filed K-1 about 6 months back before marriage. Hope this helps!
