What's my status after applying for removal of GC conditions?

Hi all!

I need your help. My wife just sent an application for removing GC conditions. Her conditional GC expires on March 15.

She just got a call from work and they're saying her GC expires on Match 15 and she will not be able to work.

What's her status going to be in the period after March 15 and before we have our interview and permanent GC is issued?

The card does not technically expire. The NOA1 from removal of conditions states clearly that it is an extension for 1 year. She should be able to provide her work place with a copy of this and continue to work.

Her status is still LPR. She will need to show her work her extension letter (the NOA1).

She is still a Permanent Resident after March 15, as the NOA1 (extending the validity) automatically extend the validity by an year. After you get the NOA1, send a copy of the NOA1 to her employer.
