My fiancée has been working on gathering the documents to prepare for the interview, does she really need original birth certificates to bring with her of all her family members or can she bring photocopies of the birth certificates and still have it considered valid. Also another question is I noticed the visa for London is £240 while the states say its $375 , now my question is if I wrote an American check for her of $375 would the embassy in London accept an American check or money order, or would I have to have the money converted into £ before it would be accepted. Thanks I'm advance

Not sure... it might say somewhere in Packet 3. I know for ours it says payable in Philippine pesos only. Safest bet would be to have it in GBP. We have used Xoom.com with great success. On the BC issue, I would *think* exact photocopies are okay unless it says otherwise.
