Focus on the message rather than if it was in caps or not as it makes no difference. Again, I am scared for your future spouses if you make a big deal over the use of capital letters. I suspect some type of abuse will happen in the future by your short temper on silly matters.

You're correct! I don't allow my spouse to use capital letters dangit! And she better never go off and use them without my permission! I Dare Her!!!

Besides, I'm sure Obama is going to propose a Capital Letter tax very soon. He did so with Capital Gains!

Also, any democrat knows that Al Gore, soon after he created internet, passed a law making it a no-no to use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS when typing over the internet. It uses way to much energy!

Thanks for posting these revelations. I have to assume you have saved many from a terrible fate. There are so many people that simply would have over looked this very important info had you not yelled it from the mountian top.

God bless you Tiny Tim!

To those who are offended by caps, I am sorry that small matters like that means so much to you.. I was going to take the time to retype in right case but in the end it would have been the exact same message, just in smaller case and capitals where they should be. Second, I was not being rude. I was actually excited when typing this message because I wanted to help people so they would not have to go through hardships. I know how important it is to be with your spouse and if they have to go back because the two of you didn't do things in a timely matter, I know that would be heart-breaking. You don't have to have a ceramony to get married at first; that can come later. Get married in a courthouse or have a judge come to your house( that is what I did; we will have the ceramony in April)

I wish people would take things with a grain of salt and not get offended over small matters. If little things set you off, I would be afraid to be your spouse; not trying to be rude but just saying....

As was stated a few times before you posted this, the foreign fiance(e) does not have to leave if they do not marry within the 90 days. They can still get married after the 90 days. They will just need to file the I-130 along with the I-485 and most likely need to explain why they did not marry during the allotted/required 90 day time period after entry with the K-1.

All that being said, my husband and I started planning before we knew a date, then took care of more details and getting everything in order, deposits paid, etc. after he arrived in the US. It was not a large, grand ceremony but we never wanted one of those to begin with. We had a small, garden/gazebo wedding at an historic bed n' breakfast where we also honeymooned. There are ways to make a wedding ceremony happen within those 90 days, as some others have stated in this thread as well. The courthouse option is a feasible one for many couples, but it is certainly not the only option for marrying on a K-1.

Again thank you so very much for your deep understanding and concern for the mental stability of everyone that your message touches throughout the vast universe of V J.

I just wonder about the stability factor. Those caps for example. They make no difference yet you chose to use them? What does that say about the temper of the individual at the keyboard?

Please give an example of "some countries or embassies" that "demand proof that the wedding has been planned". Just curious because all I've seen and read is that NVC as well as consular officers will tell you it's ill advised to make concrete plans or for the beneficiary to quit their jobs/sell their houses and belongings, etc. before they have the visa in hand.

India.....when perviz received his paper for more documents to be given it was one of the required items marked....

Its kind of hard to focus on the message when every sentience either starts or ends with you being confused and don't understand why people do things.

Some people rather plan and get excited then sit on their A$$es and wait for months until they hear from USCIS.

YOU DON"T HAVE TO UNDERSTAND EVERYONE IN THE WORLD, its ok :ot2:

I suspect some type of abuse will happen in the future by your short temper on silly matters.

Really?

I know you wanted to help us out but you used the wrong tone to do it. Its not all about the caps and no one is angry or upset here that you used all CAPS to express your opinion. Having said that you don't have to worry about any kind of abuse happening in future  (not really sure you how came to that conclusion)

P.S.

This was fun

GET MARRIED AS SOON AS SPOUSE ARRIVES IN USA!!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO COMPREHEND!

DO NOT PLAN WEDDING CERAMONEY UNTIL SPOUSE ARRIVES IN USA! AGAIN, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE PLAN WEDDING CARAMONY BEFORE SPOUSE ARRIVES OR BEFORE SPOUSE HAS ARRIVAL DATE AND THEN COMPLAIN THAT THE PAPERWORK IS TAKING TOO LONG!

IF YOUR SPOUSE HAS TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GET MARRIED WITHEN THE 90 DAYS, IT IS YOUR OWN FAULT. 90 DAYS IS MOR THAN ENOUGH TIME TO GET MARRIED!

IF YOU PLANNED A HUGE CERAMONY AND ARE UPSET THAT YOUR SPOUSE WON’T BE HERE WHEN YOU HAD PLANNED, AGAIN..YOUR OWN FAULT! DON'T MAKE PLANS UNTIL THINGS ARE SET IN STONE!

JUST TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE BEFORE THEY REGRET THEIR DESCIONS.

Please don't shout :)

as for getting married asap, well I'm sure some people have a luxury of spending months abroad with their loved ones but some don't so it is rational to have some time to actually get to know your fiance before diving into marriage
