HELP: Canada Permanent Resident applying for B2

I applied for a visit visa and got denied last November. I was a new immigrant, only 5 months, and two months in my job. I was denied because of 214b. I used to work in a daycare and was planning to visit my bf for christmas holidays in the US. I live in Calgary Alberta now.

My bf and I don't have plans yet to get married yet, we just want to visit each other as much as we can,

Last january, my personal circumstances has changed significantly. I now work in the IT Department of an OIL and GAS company based in Calgary, earning twice as much as I used to earn in the dayhome. I wish to reapply again on June (hitting my 1st year mark in Canada on June) and it's like 7 months after my initial application. Do you think I should wait a little longer? I'm still together with my boyfriend, and my purpose of visiting this time is I'll be in Ohio for 4 days to be a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding and maybe visit him for a few days as well. Do I stand a chance even tho i had a refusal?

When is the best time for me to reapply after my first denial??

Since your personal circumstances changed, you can apply in June as you're planning to do.

IMHO you can apply earlier, but if you'd feel better (more confident and all) applying in June, do it
