it might help if I explain how you package is prepared by USCIS for adjudication. When the package is received, it is put into a file folder with a two prong clip at the top (hole punched). So the adjudicator will thumb through your file by turning pages that are bound at the top. For this reason, it is best to submit everything attached to 8.5X11 paper. If you did submit some thing in envelopes, not worries but to make it easy for the reviewer, it is best to have everything the same size and organized.

Yes, absolutely the right way to go. I should have been a bit more specific. I used 8-1/2"x11" paper and had (3) 8-1/2"x11" envelopes, and then put them all in a larger envelope for mailing. I had no idea what order they'd want, so I sorted to the envelopes and let them work from there. It didn't seem to slow the process too much. 3 weekdays from receipt of package to notification of it being accepted and sent to CSC seems about normal.

Thanks! That DOES help. Is there anywhere on VisaJourney that explains the process our applications go through after they've been received (please excuse the newbie)?

I ended up putting my pictures in photo sleeves. The sleeves are the same size as 8.5x11 sheets of paper and each sleeve holds 2 4x6 pictures. The sleeves are clear on both sides so whoever deals with my application will see the picture as well as the information I posted on the back.

I am doing I-129F. Do they really need me to write location, date, time on the back of the photos? I can't get the street names. Is that what they want? I can probably guess or find out the date, but time and street names. I can do town and country, the date and the names whos on photos. Is that good enough? Instruction doesn't say anything about it.
