My patience has definitely increased.

I've gotten to be an expert at waiting (not really but at least can tolerate it slightly better) between waiting for the NOA2 and waiting for jobs to respond.

When you look back after it is all over, it won't seem to take that long, until you look at the pictures of when you first met, after five years of marriage. First thing you will notice, is how much the process has aged the both of you.

Increased patience (does checking status constantly count against you ;)) But most importantly I am learning the true meaning of "God's timing". We thought we would be done oh back in September. Lost case, missing and lost undeliverable documents and months later I am learning its His timing not mine and his is always perfect. So I'm just flowin with God now. Oh but what a ride it is.

I have become more and more impatient and whinny :crying: I am also a big, fat baby because I live about 1 hour away from my husband and I see him 3 times a week. Is this enough for me to be patient? Not at all! I just saw him today and feel lonely ans sad and want to be with my Marco and my kitties :crying: I'm ranting, I know but it's just so hard to be patient tonight when I can look down my street and see the USA but I can't be with Marco.

I haven't been waiting for over 180days as others. But reading about stories here have definitely given me an appreciation of patience as a virtue. I unederstand much better the saying: "good things comes to those who wait".

So to all those still waiting, yours will come through soon!

I'd say this process has made me more impatient....but somewhat more patient as a person. Impatient because I want to bring my wife here to stay our life as soon as possible and the fact that Atlanta's Field Office has done nothing to the I-130s transferred there. But more patient as a person because I cant do anything about it so I stay calm and just wait. But I agree this process is defiantly making me age more quicker LOL

USCIS

08/13/2012: I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox from Jordan (Nahda Office)

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

Waiting gives me anxiety, especially when I can't do anything but wait, but my patience has definitely increased.

We just started AOS, and after the whole K1visa journey, I feel more calmed.
