Hi All,

So went online to checkt the status of my card and it says that it was delivered on Febuary 9th and included a USPS tracking number which also confirms that it was delivered on the 9th. Well that is news to me because I was at home on Saturday when the mail came and there was nothing from USCIS at all.

I called the post office in our town but of course they were no help.

Is USCIS going to make me pay for another one even though I never received the first one?

With the crazy weather this weekend things may have gotten mixed up. See if it comes in today. Then call USCIS and explain and find out if you will have to pay.

Best option is to talk to your postman who delivers the mails in your area. He could tell you where exactly he dropped your package. Sometimes they accidentally drop the mail to other apartment. I receive so many mails, even after all that, they sometimes make mistake and drop my package to my next door neighbor. Even so called Fedex made the mistake, and dropped my iPad to my neighbor. Mistakes are pretty common to happen, so best option to talk to your local postman.

YAY!! Just got my card now. My regular postman (god love him) was away all last week. The girl that took care of his route, put my mail in the church's mailbox down the street on Saturday. He being as astute as he is, knows that the church does not get priority mail and picked it up and saw that it was for me so he brought it to my house today...I wanted to kiss him as soon as I saw it in his hand and he even apologized for her mistake. He is definately getting some brownies made for him!!
