Why is there no emoticon for "bang head on wall"?...

Yes, people, yes, everyone is seeing the same thing, you are not special, sorry. Also, stop checking online status 200 times a day, it's not going to make the process any faster.

ROC is the easiest step compared to the previous ones, because: #1. Your spouse is already here #2. Now is a LPR and #3. Will be eligible to apply for Naturalization soon (which is, in the end, the goal for most people anyway)

So yeah, enjoy hitting refresh on the online status, I'm a go hurry up and wait until I actually get something in 6-9 months (which is the realistic expectations that I set before we even started ROC)

Ugh... headbonk.gif

Hey Martyshk! Don't be so harsh...

It looks like that OP just got NOA and this is the first time checking for ROC... OP is not checking 200 times a day!

To the OP, FYI, you need to wait Bio letter to check online status. That Receipt Number on NOA doesn't work ;)

Alright, I'm sorry for coming off a little too strong.

But the point is, my wife's I-485 status still says pending, yet she's had a GC for 2 years now.

Online tracking is not the holy grail.

Yes, it was my first time checking that's why I asked. Overall I've spent less time checking than it probably took you to type your rant. :bonk:

How digusting of your person to make such quick snap judgments. Take a chill pill honey. Who said I checked the status 200 times a day? Who said that I'd think it would make the process any faster? Who said I keep hitting refresh? and are you delusional to think that ANYTHING with immigration is easy? UGH. THATS WHY THESE BOARDS EXIST. People like you don't need to be writing on these boards. Let's stick with the normal sane ones that are out there to be helpful and not so judgmental.

After receiving their NOA and trying to check the status online? or am I doing something wrong?

Actually, I don't understand what this message means? Can someone explains? Do they mean when you originally filed the application? Once you see your case status online available, you should not worry about this message, correct? Or there are huge delays now?

Do they mean when you originally filed the application?

Yes, that's exactly what is stated.

And USCIS online system is not reliable to begin with, so that doesn't change anything in any meaningful way for anyone.
