I'm in the same situation we just had a courthouse group wedding, there was around 20 couples getting married at the same time. We had 1 or 2 cell phone pics though.

I think the state issued certificate of marriage will mean more than a few pics. Do you have copies of mail addressed to both names at the same address?(Not necessarily both names on same letter though) Particularly something from the government, like a ssn card? Or copies of Driver's licenses showing same address for each person? What about health insurance, or life insurance beneficiary, those things can help too, if you are worried.

I think you'll be ok, particularly given you have the evidence of financial co-mingling, credit cards etc.

Our AOS interview is tomorrow. We have joint bank accounts, some of the utilities are in both our names, we have lots of photos.. our wedding was smaller - in a friend's backyard so a couple of photos but no huge 'do'. We are having 2 of those later this year (full kit & caboodle - reception, dancing, dress - everything!). We got distracted and didn't get onto people in time to get affidavits from them though - they all said Yes in theory when initially asked but I never followed up to make sure it came through in time. We can get a couple but not the 8 or 10 from respected types that we planned (i.e. lawyers, judges, engineers, accountants)

Does anybody think this will be an issue?

I think you'll be fine, i beleive and i read that affidavits are 'nice' to have but don't weigh too much...i didn't do them either.

I just have join bank accounts , credit cards , insurance ( car, health..), beneficiary on IRA , SSN letter, some utilities ( phone and electric authorizatino ) , pics of course with wedding/engagements ( we had big engagement and wedding parties), wedding invitations...and all those little stuff like that ( emails, skype logs, cards , hotel reservations...etc).

to the OP - i think if you have comingling financials i think you'll be fine as it seems you have some history with that .

I look forward to us both coming back with happy news. :-)

I'm really not in the mood for us to pack up our house, sell it and move back to Aus. His family won't be too impressed when he moves across the world either. And neither will my dog!

We were just approved. The USCIS officer wasn't interested in any documentation outside of our passports and birth certificates, although we had included a lot of stuff with our original application (divoce and marriage certificates, a ton of photos, evidence of financial co-mingling), though I think it partially depends on your officer.

Good luck.

Thanks Gokan. I posted a review of the experience under the Saint Paul local CIS office. You'd also benefit from reading the other interviews at the office that you'll be doing your interview at, just in case there is a different vibe.
