DS 230 Part 2 - Need some Help, Still in AP???

Hello guys, I have been in AP since Feb 2012 (yes, it has been 1 yr)but from no where I received a letter from the US embassy in Islamabad asking to submit the Medical report, passport pictures, police certificate and DS 230. So, I have 2 questions..

1- Has my AP over and will they issue me a visa after they receive the paper work?

2- on DS230 part 2, do I have to sign it and then send it? That form is usually signed at front of the person in the embassy? I am all confused to whether sign it or dont sign it???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe they are getting ready to approve you. DS-230 you must sign part1 and part two you will sign at the interview. If you sent that in before maybe they need it current since its been over a year.

Thx for your reply. I had my interview in Feb 2012. so, I should not sign the new one? They haven't sent me any info on the 2nd interview? Remember they have my passport since the 1st interview. I am confused...

This is what I received after emailing the US embassy. Hoping this is the end for me...

• Fresh and updated medical examination report

• Fresh and and updated police clearance certificate

• New filled DS230 form (must signed part I and II)

• 2 x visa photos with white or off-white background (Front View)

You can submit these documents via American Express as soon as possible for the further processing of your case.

Any update about your interview
