So Alejandro and I are about to have our 1 year anniversary on feb. 21st :D

....but we haven't received anything in the mail since we received his EAD and Advanced Parole in June.

So I know they got the AOS paper work because they gave me several "you didn't sign here or fill this out right RFE's" prior to

receiving those documents. ..

But absolutely NOTHNG in the mail since June! Is this standard? Are things backed up? I know how things work in america and how quickly government employees work but my husband is getting worried.... but his EAD expires in June

Not that is makes a difference for awhile but we thought we would have our AOS interview and receive a 2 year GreenCard by now...

Is there a specific # I should call about this? :( Should I be worried that they lost our paper work?

I would be concerned. If you got your EAD and AP in June, it's unusual that you haven't heard anything in the months after. I received my EAD and AP last February, and had my green card by June.

I would go ahead and give USCIS a call. Have your case number handy.

I was transferred to the CSC. Which is ironic because the letter says we were transferred to speed up the processing... :P

I called them this morning and I was told I would receive a letter about my case in 10-12 business days.

So in summation: Applied for AOS on March 20, 2012 and still in Initial Review as of Feb. 11, 2013. I just hope we get his 2 years Green Card before his EAD expires in June. I really have grown accustom to 2 incomes.....

I waited 8 months in the so-called faster processing of CSC whilst other people that were processed locally (with interviews) flew by. I phoned, got a service request and was approved the next day.

There's that smell again...

We pretty much have the same time line! Have been waiting 9 months as well and still no word, transferred to CSC for "faster processing" May 2012 and no word. I think we are going to call them tomorrow as both my husband and myself have off, just to see what's going on!

All you have to do is renew your EAD - no need to stop working... No fee to be paid, you just have to prove that your AOS is still pending.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=820a0a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=820a0a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

If Your EAD has Expired

If you are still eligible for work authorization but your EAD has expired, you should file for a renewal EAD by submitting a Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. You cannot file for a renewal EAD more than 120 days before your original EAD expires.

119 days before it expires, if you're still awaiting approval, fill out the papers and hop!

We sent our application for AOS, EAD and AP in August (2012) - I got text messages about 5 days later indicating that all applications had been received. My husband then went for his biometrics appointment in Buffalo and we received combined EAD/AP card the middle of October. Since then, we have heard absolutely NOTHING. When I check the USCIS website, it says that it is still in the "acceptance" phase, and then this is what it says: "On August 10, 2012, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

As far as I know, we did not receive any additional notice describing how our case would be processed. Is it normal for cases to be sent the the National Benefits Center?? I thought they went to a local office (ours would be Buffalo, NY).

It is now the middle of February....should I be concerned??? I keep thinking that if they needed anything, I would get a letter, or something, right???

I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!! :-)

I'm in the same boat. Filed 31st of April, still waiting. Got transferred to CSC in June, received my EAD in July, been working since basically and starting to get worried about my EAD expiring this summer, I have no AP either, which Im gonna have to apply for now since the GC is taking forever.

Called for a service request a couple of weeks ago, received a letter saying: We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending application and are aware of the difficulties cause by any delay in processing. The California service center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints.

Checked online for an update on the case status, still under "initial review"

*sigh* :(
