I have spoken to 6 different person that had an interview before and all of them said that i do not need the affidavit of support. That is why I am including i-765 on my package, to work right? If i send my package without the affidavit of support form would they deny the process right away?

You should probably stop getting second-hand information and read the I-485 form instructions. It clearly states your wife is required to file an I-864(affidavit of support) to sponsor you. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485instr.pdf

Follow the guide here that Penguin linked above. As you go through the guide, read every single set of instructions for every single form that is required. Just Google a form name, like I-864 and you will easily find the USCIS page that has the download for the current form and the form instructions.

You mentioned 3 affidavits which leads me to believe you are confusing a simple affidavit from a friend or family member attesting to the validity of your marriage to an actual affidavit of support form(I-864). The two are not the same. Gather the supporting documents needed for each form separately. Read the I-130 instructions and VJ guide, and gather together everything needed for it. Read the I-485 instructions and VJ guide and gather together the documents that are required for it. Do the same for the I-131 and I-765. They are all mailed together, but they are all separate petition/applications that each require their own required supporting documentation.

$17k is not enough for a household of 2. The 2013 poverty guidelines at 125% is $19,388 for two. As stated above, your wife needs more income, or to make up the shortcoming in income with assets at 3 times the difference.

Applying for the EAD(I-765) will grant you permission to work while waiting for your green card to be approved. That has nothing to do with financial sponsorship. You file the I-864 with the I-485 at the same time as the I-765. You have no current, ongoing legal US income to include in your wife's affidavit of support. Your possible future income has no bearing on the I-864.

Your Wife has 3 children so she would have to meet the requirements to support a family of 4 and you will make 5.

You need a co-sponsor.
