My brother in law is getting married on April 20th so exciting times ahead in the family!

Having just filed our I130s, can anyone tell me if I can go travel to the States for 2 weeks whilst the application is still going through?

I don t think we ll receive our NO2, let alone the Embassy interview by then!

02/13/13 Fees cashed on 05/02/2013 DS3032 accepted

My sons AOS and IV bill paid March 23rd (status in progress)
My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th
CC on both cases March 30

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

October 23rd 2015, Oath ceremony!!!!!​​

yes you can visit during the process with proper travel documents. Just be prepaed to answer question at the entry point about intent toreturn to your home country after your visit.

09/15/2012: Got Married
09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

N-400: (3 months and 12 days)

It will look good! :) Make sure you take pictures of you and your wife celebrating with friends and family. That is terrific evidence in your package.
