What does the NVC say when you ask about the wait time for an interview? I have asked Ankara also but I did not get a real answer.

My lawyer just told me it is normally a 1 month wait. But this doesn't see to be the case for Ankara.

your lawyer right about waiting time

1 month for regular countries (indian also) but turkey is not normal :)

when i called to embassy they always say you are on the line nothing wrong about your case

just so many peaople waiting for interwiev

i wrote before i found somebody he was interwiev in march(cr1)

he told me i was wait 3 month 1 week to get my interwiev mail

i think waiting time not same for diffrent cases(k1,cr1)

because kazim`s( he started the topic) case completed on 23rd jan mine was 24th jan(1 day later)

he applied for his mom and he got email 8 days ago

if i am on the waiting same line next day or second day

they should sent my interwiev date

probably they have different line (cr1 line,k1 line)

what is your visa type?

On the last schedule there was on 7 CR1/IR1 interviews scheduled. There was only 1 from 2013 and 1 from 2012 the rest were 2011 or later. (which makes no since)

There was 19 K1 interview scheduled.

I think there should be an even about of CR1/IR1 and K1's scheduled. This seems off balanced to me.

It's been 3 months. If I was you.. I would email again.

and ask them to look into why you have not had an interview scheduled.

Ask them to contact the NVC and check on your case.

It doesn't hurt to ask.

This is crazy :bonk: Why don't they understand how this effects us? To them we are just numbers on a paper.

I just went to see my husband last month. It was hard to leave him there and come home. Why don't they understand?. It's not like it's easy to save the money to go or get the time off from work. Some days I just want to scream!!!

I pray you hear something soon. Did your file go back to the NVC or to the USCIS? Are you living with your husband or apart?

Thank you.. I guess we just weren't ready for a 3 month wait for an interview. We are going for a CR1. My lawyer told me it would just be 8 months from the time we filed at the USCIS till my husband got his visa. I believed that till I found this website.

Wow :( submitted to Ankara on 1/16 and still no interview date.

Yeah it only took us 66 days at the USCIS. We were at the NBC.

But it took our file 31 days to get from the USCIS to the NVC.

Now I am hoping for a faster case complete just to get a spot in the long line.

yeah it's crazy the amount of money you have to spend during this process.

Shipping overnight saves you a day or two in the long run.

But I'm sure at this point you don't see it.

Not with already waiting so long.

Our file went back to USCIS and they received it in July and then sent a NOIR in September and then transferred the case to the Memphis field office on December 7th and we have not heard anything since then. I have been to Turkey three times and we took a trip to the Dominican Republic. Somedays I can hardly stand it. The last time I saw him was March 17, 2012.

They said it was because our stories about how he asked me to marry him did not match. I told them about when he first asked me to marry him and I said he was crazy and he told them about the time he asked me to marry him and I was so happy to say yes. I should never have told them about the first time he asked me.
