Format for sending paperwork in???

As the description asks... Is there a set way of sending our paperwork in for the ROC? Like we did when we first started the process? Apart from putting the A# on each page we submit and keeping a copy for our records, will we need to furnish any originals when the interview is upon us?

An interview for ROC would be extremely rare. I didn't put the A-number on every page for any submission, so that's personal choice. Pretty much what you did before. No staples, no notebooks, no page protectors. Get a delivery confirmation for your peace of mind but expensive over-night delivery is a waste of money.

I was under the impression that you had to attend to do your biometrics which takes literally minutes then wait for an interview letter giving date and time to attend months later? Or is this now not the case in every case and they just approve or deny application and send the new 10 year GC without interview?

Slightly confused over many posts I have seen here and on other expat forums???

You will receive a biometrics appointment within a month (maybe two). Then normally (months later) they review your application documentation, possibly ask for more with an RFE, and in most cases approve and send the GC. Interviews would mean that the service center didn't feel like they could approve without a face-to-face, so sent it to a local office. That doesn't happen often.

Your question about original documents. I am the USC and can tell you that nobody in this process from K1 to my husband's citizenship ever saw my original birth certificate, prior marriage ending death certificate, passport, financial statements, marriage certificate, etc. My husband showed his original birth certificate at his interview in London as well as his passport in London and at citizenship interview. That's it. All application documents were photocopies.

We took orginals, but they were never asked for, I provided good color copies. ROC interview is rare, but does happen. I would do a similar job as you filed before, cover sheet and tab if necessary, USPS trackable posting. We might have burried them but our's was at least 150 pages, you don't want any RFE's or refusals at this stage and what looks like a 7-19 month wait.
