Woot! hopefully they'll send me the oath letter soon.

"On June 3, 2013, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval."

Hello VisaJourney family and future fellow Americans,

I am writing because I am now worried that USCIS is ta taking too long to process the N400. I sent the N400 on March 4,2013, it's been 3 months and I have not yet received any updates apart from the biometrics appointment which I had to do early.

Should I be worried? has my application been lost? I have not even receive an email stating that I am already in line for interview.

Your input is well appreciate it .

When was your bio? Correct me if I'm wrong but if you haven't heard from USCIS for more than 90 days you should make an appointment with infopass and ask for an update.

I am in the same situation I send my application in March 6 I had my Finger print in March 26 from that day I didn't hear any thing from them just I received RFE ant that's it! I am still waiting for interview to be scheduled!

I am waiting as well, my biometrics appt had to be rescheduled, today makes 2 months since they got the paperwork requesting the rescheduling. I already was told that I am at their mercy, not a clue when my new date will be, but I am thinking risking the 4 hrs drive to my field office and try the walk in, if nothing happens in another 2 weeks. I agree with those that suggest to use infopass, if 90 have passed already for some of you.

A few weeks ago coming back from a week vacation out of the country, inmigration scanned my fingerprints and took a picture. I wished that could have been good enough for the biometrics part of the process. wink.png

Yeah there are a few of us still waiting. I would say if we didn't hear anything within the next month, then we should be worried.

I understand your frustration. If you take a look at timelines in April where we've also listed our eligibility dates, you'll see a pattern, where those with much earlier eligibility dates such as back in 2012, are getting through quicker, than say, filers like myself, who filed on same day that eligibility window opened up. So in addition to how busy your local office is, your eligibility date might very well be a factor.
