Got my interview date! Seattle office. Its early morning interview, so hoping for same-day oath too.

The notice asked me to bring proof of my Selective Service - is it enough to bring a printout from sss.gov showing my selective service number as proof? If not, what else is needed to prove that I did register?

We got a yellow letter on Saturday asking us to bring a copy of the license. How long does it usually take people to hear something after getting the yellow letter?

12/29/08-NOA1! Yay

07/07/09-NOA2 after 6.5 months!

07/11/09-Received hardcopy of NOA2

07/14/09-Received by NVC & got case#

07/16/09-NVC sent case to SDO

07/20/09-Case arrived as SDO

08/13/09-My honey got his packet!!!

10/05/09-Appointment-Approved but on AP :(

10/20/09-Out of AP!!!

10/24/09-Hello USA

11/21/09-Wedding

AOS

12/08/09-Mailed packet

12/10/09-Delivered

12/14/09-Check cashed

12/14/09-NOA1

12/31/09-RFE

01/13/10-Biometrics

02/04/10-Case Transferred to CSC

02/09/10-EAD approved

02/13/10-EAD received

03/05/10-I485 Approved!

Cereza I applyed on March 6 too, I got yellow letter on Friday it seems our casees are the same in timing!

I'm still in-line for interview - just curious whether the yellow letter you referred to above means an RFE or interview letter? Thanks.

Status just got updated, I've been scheduled for oath ceremony.

Now it's time to wait on the notice in the mail. :)

The yellow letter its a RFE

Just to clairify - not everyone is expected to receive a yellow letter, correct? Even if a yellow letter (RFE) is received, an applicant can take the documentations requested on the interview day, not a separate day before the interview, right?

Yes, not everyone gets a yellow letter. My husband got one with the request of bringing in his state issued ID and any records of arrests (because we marked the box about "have you ever been arrested, detained, cited..." with a "yes"). He took court and DMV records to his interview last week that showed he had two traffic tickets and both had been paid for and cleared. The IO didn't even ask for them. She just asked my husband "have you been arrested?" and my husband said "no, I had two traffic tickets." and the IO just moved on. One never knnows what they want to see. It's just a good idea to have everything they request, just in case.

I'm still surprised I applied March 1st and I am already scheduled for oath ceromony.

Hopefully they schedule me for next Friday because there is an oath ceremony every Friday in Brooklyn and if they do, the entire process took less than 3 months.

My online status got updated today. It says that I am scheduled for an interview and that I should receive a notice within 30 days. This means that I did not get any RFE right?

The yellow letter is RFE for bringing ID and Green card and not every one recieve it. The day of interview who ever that has it, should take the documents with the RFE letter.
