Hello Everyone! I petitioned my mother from the Philippines. I submitted the affidavit of support and civil documents all originals however after reading here, I realized that I didn't include the cover sheet bar code. It's almost 20 days and I haven't heard from the NVC. Would the NVC send back my documents? Please help! Thank you..

Dont U worry about that because when you submit something to nvc then NVC check it about 15 days then if there is some mistake or problem then nvc send checklist to principal applicant or attorney either who are case representative regarding that case.

If all the things correct then nvc does,t.

Bar code sheet is not much bigger problem.

i suggest you hust wait 5 days more and then send email to nvc and ask about your AOS documents.

and good luck and whats your P.date? and which Category????

Pak, Thank you for taking your time to reply. I guess I'm not going to worry too much. I hope my stupidity won't contribute to the delay of my mother' papers. This processing is really confusing. When I applied for my citizenship, I never had any confusion but when I started petitioning my mom and her papers went to NVC, my head started to spin:). My category is IR5-Parent of us citizen and 12JUN2012 is my priority date.

Let it Be, Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it!

the cover sheets are a quick way to assure them you have made payments. without it, they could always look into their system to verify. also if there is no place where your case number is clearly listed , that could also cause a delay in linking your file. That being said, you never know what is what until you CALL.

NVC: 603-334-0700. be prepared ti gev them yoiur case number, beneficary names and date of birth andf petitioner names and date of birth. Then tell them " its been ...weeks since i submited my AOS and IV documens and I just want to know the status of my file'.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!
