Are you sure? These days when a train is broken down in a yard they don't even use an engineer, its all handled by remote control I kid you not! Supposedly its more efficient.

I imagine in the more modern yards that is true. I have seen footage of that, and it is amazing, mostly done with gravity. I used to know a brakeman, and the stories he would tell would give OSHA fits if they only knew. If an engineer ever had to stop a train because a brakeman wasn't hustling, there was hell to pay.

The Plains Indians also had rifles (but) The Plains Indians were different from and much, much smarter than NAACP members (or liberals in general for that matter)

A band of Southern Cheyenne, under Chief Turkey Leg, took up the rails and ties over a dry ravine. It so happened that the train was preceded by a hand car with three section men—encountering the break, the car and men fell into the ravine and one of their men was captured and scalped. In his agony, he grabbed his scalp and got away in the darkness as had his two more fortunate companions. The engineer discovered the break by the light of his headlight, but not in time to stop his train, and the engine and two car loads of brick, immediately following it, toppled into the ravine with the balance of the train, box cars loaded with miscellaneous freight, piled up and round about. The engineer and fireman were caught and killed in the wreck.

Another serious attack was made on a train near Ogallala Station in September, 1868. The ends of two opposite rails were raised so as to penetrate the cylinders, the engine going over into the ditch and the cars piling up on top of it. The fireman was caught in the wreck and burned to death, the engineer and forward brakeman, riding on the engine, escaped unhurt.

From a 2011 article:

US forces have fired so many bullets in Iraq and Afghanistan - an estimated 250,000 for every insurgent killed - that American ammunition-makers cannot keep up with demand.

A government report says that US forces are now using 1.8 billion rounds of small-arms ammunition a year. The total has more than doubled in five years, largely as a result of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as changes in military doctrine.

Conclusions made from this thread:

1. A helicoptor can be shot down by automatic weapons fire so ownership of semiautos is an issue of national security

2. Removal of a piece of unattended track will derail and blow up a train so ownership of semiautos is an issue of national security

3. It takes 250,000 rounds of small-arms fire to kill an Iraqi insurgent. Semiautos are an issue of national security because they can shoot down planes and blow up railroads

How does one follow from the other? Just because you can bloody an enemy doesn't mean you will win in the end. The Plains Indians were superior cavalrymen in all respects, just out-gunned and out numbered.

Oh please explain how they are smarter than the NAACP...

Ya know I'll redact the "members" and replace it with "leadership"

You figure out the rest

Oh, don't be so modest, you clearly have a set opinion about those in the NAACP, care to share with the rest of the class? :)

For freight trains, they still handle manual switching and making/breaking the trains. It is a physically demanding job. For passenger trains, they take tickets, and make sure all the doors are properly closed.

I use to work midnight at a Kaolin mine. Those guys use to come in the middle of the night, and walk up and down those tracks in the weeds and dark for hours switching cars. You could not pay me enough

I will bite. What does removing sections of a rail to cause a wreck have to do with Semi- Automatic weapons

Also your first sentence. Automatic and semi-automatic are not the same thing

Um yeah you probably need to brief the patriot on that auto/semi-auto thing.

Clear up the confusion.

Removing sections of a rail to blow up a railroad has been successfully demonstrated for 150 years. Firing at a train has also been demonstrated for the same amount of time. One is successful. The other is unsuccessful. "Rainbow Jesse" declares the unsuccessful an issue of national security

I find that really funny dude

Do you to go and post a thread about a great job they are doing and I will be happy to do so

Here's one thing, care to elaborate?

I would love to, but it seems that you have taken a page from Hawkeyez's playbook. I can find links that show when they help blacks and even whites, but you would only be interested in the scandals:

Playbook? LOL. I simply took a page from current local news. Can the NAACP pay their bills or not? Bringing your little article into perspective I would idly point out that throwing a convention is not the same as using the healthcare system.

Put simply in small words for you: That means that what you eat and drink actually has to be paid for and you can't take off from your convention and leave the bills behind for "someone else" to pay.

As to who they do and do not help I will also point out that unlike their members I actually neither need nor want their help. Respect is warranted to individuals or groups who can stand on their own two feet. They have a lot of money right? Start a low-income health insurance plan with it. OH wait. THEIR money is better used to lobby for "someone else's" money. LOL

It's futile to try and debate with her. She prefers mental masturbation, no doubt sexually frustrated.

I blew up a train with a firecracker. Of course it was just a Lionel.
