Same for us. We requested the expedite, sent along our proof, and within 5 days we got a letter and an email saying our expedite had been approved and that our case had been moved to the next step (first to the NVC then onto the consulate and lastly our interview).

I agree with everyone above, I don't think that email is in regards specifically to your request for an expedite.

So everyone gets a email regarding their service request for a military expedite two weeks after the request? And files getting sent to a local office three weeks after submission is normal? Ok thanks KBH! Your information gathering and presentation is an invaluable asset to these boards.

I suggest you take a look at my "about me" section on my profile. Here is the short version:

Jan 23 2013 Filed another expedite on phone with ISO, case is still at NBC

Jan 23 2013 Transferred to Hartford Field Office

Jan 25 2013 Email stating 30 days for processing expedite request, no decision yet and no one has looked at it

Jan 30 2013 ISO a week more to process expedite says case definitely not at a field office (but it was)

I don't think what you got looks like a military expedite. It looks like their standard form response, somewhat similar to what we got.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I must concur, as I've been going through this exact same stuff with 3 service requests . My expedite was filed with the I-130 submittal.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks for the info, Darnell. You have been very helpful. My request was not done as a military expediate however.... It was done as "other category". For military reason. So nothing reffering to military expediate would be on my request for that reason. I was looking for someone on here that has gotten the same response to their request for expediate. So if anyone has gotten this response i would appreciate feedback.

It shouldn't matter what reason your expedite was requested under. I would call the normal line and request an update and ask for clarification on the military expedite thing.

When you requested it they should have said something like 'you will know within 10 business days'. We asked if we would receive notification of it. They said YES but that was NOT THE CASE. We had to look it up ourselves and found out it had been accepted. They said if we did not get accepted then we would not receive any notification.

The fact yours has gone to a field office suggests that you have not been approved. It should have skipped that stage and gone straight to NVC. That has been the experience of most people here who have been approved. Try the main board (I know someone moved this here) for general expedites if you don't want to use the experiences of people here - as everyone is giving you the same answer.

I read your about you like you wanted me too and i find little similarities between our situations. I didnt contact my senator nor do i have address issues like you do. About half the the responses on this forum are worth while. Everyone likes to feel like they have knowledge... I get it.

Well, my expedite has absolutely nothing to do with the adress issue, but if you don't want to believe the people on this forum, then that is your problem.

Both Darnell and I filed expedites, both were neither approved nor denied, and both were farmed out to field offices with a generic response back time.

But, I would assume you know so much better than a person who has read every expedite thread on this forum and everyone they could find on google. Yeah, ok. Good luck. :)

If you have pertinent information to the question then by all means give a informative response rather than a quick snide remark. Darnell is informative..... Many are not.

You state your response was in regards to your military expedite

Multiple people say no, that has nothing to do with approval of your military expedite

You get sarcastic and ask for someone else that got the same response

NOLA says 'hey I got that same response for something completely different so I concur that it is not in response to an approval for your military expedite'

You continue your sarcastic remarks despite being answered with plenty of information

Here, is this the response you wanted?

 YES YES !THAT MEANS YOUR EXPEDITE WAS APPROVED!

YOU'LL GET YOUR NOA2 ANY DAY NOW! GRATS!

Regardless of whom you want to answer to your question, you are here looking for help and many people are trying to help you. Your response to not getting the answer you want is sarcasm and mean words?
