It does neglect to take into account that almost no one is born at exactly however many days it should be! I was six weeks early, personally, but I've known many, many people who were born a week or even a month early, and a few who were born a week or two late.

Also, if it's going to tell me my age in hours, minutes, and seconds, shouldn't it ask for the time I was born and where? After all, there are people with my birthday who are nineteen hours older or four hours younger than me. And someone who was born at 7pm on a date in New York City is five hours younger than someone who was born at 7pm on that date in the UK.

That is true, however, you can then work out your actual conception date if you know you were born 6 weeks early or one week late - assuming that the doctor was correct as per the expected birth date. Me, I was born on exactly the date the doctor told my parents to expect me:-).
