NVC Not Available at this Time Message.

I have tried several times calling the NVC this morning, and I keep getting the message "The NVC is not available at this time, please call back during the hours of 7 am EST to .... except on a Federal Holiday ....". Well, it's well past 8 am and it's not a Federal Holiday, so does anyone know what's going on? Thanks in advance for your reply.

I'm assuming they may be closed due the blizzard that is suppose to hit tonight!

There is a blizzard here in New Hampshire for the next 2 days, all government workers were ordered to stay home today, sorry but there won't be any NVC today.

the blizzard has already started. I'm staring out the window watching the snow fall. not looking forward to this storm and what is to come

Well this storm we are having here in New Hampshire is supposed to be one of the worst, if not THE worst in over 100 years. I live near the NVC, not only has the governor told all government workers to stay home , he has ordered all people to stay off the roads, unless they are emergency workers. We are supposed to have over 2 feet of snow, hurricane force winds, widespread, and prolonged power outages. This storm is no joke, I am afraid there won't be any NVC until at least Monday, sorry...

yeah I Live in New Mexico so Im checking out the weather in new Hampshire - what is the point of Ground Hog day - They said it Time for Spring But it still snowing - its going to snow here today and TOMORROW then Rain Monday, Well Thanks for the info

Ugh I'm in NYC and the snow is coming down, Nothing out of this world but it's starting to stick, they advised that by rush hour it will be coming down harder. So be safe everyone.
