Like you have the same situation with me...i got marry to my wife on March 1 and her surgery is schedule on june...when she petition for me...we went the expedition route...all she have to do is call USCIS and tell them that she is undergoing a surgery and she wanted her husband to be here as soon as possible to support her during and after the surgery. They will assign you an agent who will take care of that...and tell her what she need to bring in as evidence. On my case..it took less than 2 weeks to approve my case and i got my visa within that timeframe....So from USCIS,NVC and embassy is expedition. So ask her to call the service center and see what they will ask her to bring.

Hi everyone, my name is Poonwattie,I am Mohsin's wife,Thanx to all for the advises, here is a little more information about our situation, a couple years ago i was diagnose with lymph phomia cancer, I had surgery then, last year when I did my monogram it showed that my lump is back,1.4 cm,, I was advised that I need to do the surgery again but I never did it, now again I went for another monogram and the lump is getting bigger, my doctors are very upset because I didnt follow their orders before, the problem is after the surgery is finish I have to go for radiation, which isnt easy to do, especially when you are alone and no one to help you do anything, and thats a short version of what is going on,, the point is that I dont want to do the surgery until my husband is here with me. I live alone. And also I know everyone will say that I need to get documents to back everything up, and thats not a problem I am getting documents from all my doctors. And to answer someone question as to why our K1 was being sent back to USCIS, we never found that out, one time I called USCIS and ask and I was told they just need to check one paper and verify that it was accurate, but then they are known to give false information. However a few weeks ago I did received a letter from USCIS saying that our K1 case have expired and we can always refile, so who knows whats going on, since we had already notify USCIS,NVC and also the embassy that we got married, we knew that the K1 was invalid. Thank you all for reading.
