just wanted to share with u guys about my experience...we entered thru LAX...i rec'd CR1 on my visa as my interview was scheduled 4 days b4 our 2nd year wedding anniversary....we travelled 4 days after our 2nd yr anniversary....at POE we went into a wrong que but the officer was polite... asked us few questions as to where we came from? then my husband asked him we have been married for more than 2yrs now and is there anything different they do to give me a IR1 status? the officer said that we got to go to counter 1 and to make sure to show our marriage cert to the officer there and if the officer is new and he wudnt know the law then we have to ask for his supervisor to look into it....the officer reminded us about 3 times to see the supervisor.....so we walked towards counter 1 which was far the other end...at the counter the american officer asked us when did we get married? my husband told him the date...i saw he was about to pick out the CR1 headed paper from the rack but when he heard the date then he didnt... He said that we were lucky we entered after our 2yrs anni and that it saved us from hell of a paper work after wards...then he told me to sign a paper and took my just one right finger print...told us to sit and wait.....after about 10 mins he called us to the counter gave me my passport and welcome paper...my hubby asked him if that was it and he said yeah that's it....i checked my passport he put a stamp and wrote IR1 on it and also there is a number written under it starting with 'A' which my hubby said is my greencard number......

Overall it was very good...no hassle at customs either.....we were glad that the officer definetly knew his job....now we are waiting for actual GC...hopefully there wont be any mistake there..... Once again thank u visa journey for all the help....we wouldnt have come this far without this website......
