So my fiance and I have been together for 2.5 years, two of which I spent in Guatemala with him. My family and I traveled to Guatemala in November so they could finally meet him. My question is, I have photos and tickets for my family but with the exception of my mother whose name is in our petition somewhere, how do I prove the rest of the tickets are for my other relatives? My aunt, uncle, great uncle and stepdad all went. I just want to be super thorough. How have other people gone about proving their fiance has met their family?

Thanks for the help!

Don't need that kind of proof. Only that you two met in person within the last two years.

Then at the interview proof of your personal relationship; the other family doesn't enter into it but evidence of their involvement can be used to support your relationship evidence.

You're sweating over nothing.

Oh I know we don't need it but I know it would definitely strengthen our case that 7 of my family members made the trek down there to meet him.

It won't strengthen your case by much at all. You need to place more emphasis on the personal relationship you have with your fiance, such as YOUR time with him, photos, passport stamps, phone calls, etc.

In other words, if its something fairly easy to include your family members' involvement then by all means include it. But if it will take a considerable amount of effort to to so, then really the benefits you gain isn't really worth it. You need strong evidence of you and your fiance's relationship, not your fiance's relationship with your family.
