Happy for those who got their ILs and specially for Mumbaikars so no more backlogs.

Sadly, it's just moved 3 weeks...Hoping to have someone after 15th Dec to get IL. This 3 weeks of movement will add one more month to our waiting period. Not cool.

We got our interview date too, 04/02/2013 in Mumbai. F2A PD: 11/01/2010, Now IR/1

Hi ik2011,

I saw on your timeline that you had your "case completed again" at NVC once you became a citizen in December 2012? Do you mind sharing why you had to go through this extra step after upgrading your case at NVC, even though you had your files all ready to be sent to the consulate for an interview?

I'm having a hard time figuring out why there was such a long delay to setup an interview?
