I´m wondering if anyone has experience using distributions from a trust as evidence of income for supporting a foreign finacee? If I am working making 125% of the pverty line before taxes, and also recieve regular desposits form a trust, which do not go on my "income" when I file taxes, can I also use that as income at the interview to show that I can support our family (no kids, just the 2 of us!)??

Yes you can. Just show evidence that you receive the payments, whether you pay tax on income or not does not matter, you need to show evidence of the income. In addition, the balance of the trust, if it can be liquidated within 12 months, can be listed as an asset

As noted above, there is no requirement to disclose ALL income or assets and if your income from a job exceeds the requirements than you can leave anything else blank. There is also no problem with making far more than the guidelines and any form of income is usually a lot easier to prove than assets. IF you are going to claim the income from the trust then just attach some evidence of payment...check stubs or whatever evidence you get when a deposit is made.

To answer the question of your annual income, combine ALL sources of income and list the source as "job/annuity" and attach the evidence.
