Received an email giving me my Invoice I.D. number and instructions on how to pay the AOS processing fee online. Was pleasantly surprise when I made the payment that one fee (for my wife) also covered my step-daughter's visa application. So, my question is, now that I paid the one fee that covers both visa applications, do I just submit one I-864 form with associated documentation, or do I have to submit 2 (one for wife and one for step-daughter). Since I just have the one AOS document cover sheet, it seems to me that I just would need to submit one I-864. Thanks in advance for your reply.

One for each visa applicant.

Thanks pushbrk. So I will use the AOS cover sheet with my wife's name and case number on it for my step-daughter? And 2 I-864's and 2 sets of documentation? Doesn't make sense when the one AOS payment covers both visas and only the wife's document cover sheet is generated, but hey, who ever said the gov't made sense? Thanks again.

No. Download separate cover sheets for each immigrant with their name and case numbers. You're paying a fee for processing the AOS for a family. The answer is the same after you pay the IV fees too. Separate cover sheets and separate stacks but you can mail in the same envelope.

Okay, so how do I get to my step-daughter's cover sheet? I clicked on "Related Cases" and I get this:

Related Cases

XXXXXXXX, DONALD ARTHUR, the petitioner of this case, KEV9999999991, has also filed at least one other related case which is currently in process at the National Visa Center. The AOS fee payment for this case will satisfy the AOS fee requirement for the related case(s) listed below.

• KEV9999999992

Review the Receipt Page for specific information about next steps.

Went back to the Receipt Page and can no way to access the step-daughter's cover sheet. Thanks.

Login as if you are going to pay a fee for your stepchild to the stepchild's case.

Tried that and didn't work. Only had an email sent to me from the NVC regarding the wife with her Invoice ID number. The wife's IID number doesn't work with my step-daughter's case number. Guess I'll have to wait for the step-daughter's IID number. Thanks.

Yes, you need both IID numbers. You can call NVC and ask them to email the other one.
