When to pay Visa Fee( Bring to Embassy or Send right away?)

Hello Everyone and Thanks for answering this question. When Did you pay the Visa fee, when you sent in the package #3 information or at the time of the interview?

I know that before you get Interviewed in the consulate someone will call your name to pay the fee & after that another person calls you to get intervioewed. Good luck

Hmmm Thanks so much for ur answer I think in Spain you pay a bank in advance then you come there and give them the receipt...

This is specific to the consulate. This should be written in either your packet 3 or 4.

For france it was written in packet 4 and I waited to have the packet 4 to pay (so I was sure to pay the right amout ) It had to be paid after packet 4 and before interview.

You should check the specific on your embassy portal.

Yes, this is country specific. In Spain you pay the fee at the bank in advance –I paid the morning before– and take the receipt to the interview.

In Colombia you don't get an interview date unless you pay the visa fee first.

Thanks So much everyone for the Answers, I dont know what I would do without this site I think its definitely Country specific from what it looks like... We will pay the fee in the bank they specify in Spain, and bring the receipt to the interview.
