Almost there

I had my visa interview on the 30th of January 2013. I could not book my medical till the following day. So i went for the interview bringing all the required documents, however i was told i need a new NSW police check (as mine had expired) and a copy of my partners W2, which i was confused about as we had a co-sponnser... Anyway I emailed the W2 today and according to my australia post the medical should be there. My question is will the consulate acknowledge the medical report and W2 as meeting the requirements? and if there were any problems with the W2 or medical would they respond immediately or wait till they received my police certificate, which is going to take another 2-4 weeks. I am anxious to get this over and done with and am not happy to have to go through the police certificate process again! I obviously don't want to book a ticket till i HAVE my visa! which i thought i wold by now!

Oh, what kind of Visa did you apply for?

I don't think the consulate will issue a visa til they have all the required documentation they needed and then they still have to process it to make sure they have everything you needed. Definetly would not book a flight... We got held back for a birth certificate and we are showing they have recieved it.. but no word from the consulate as of yet and i definetly don't want us to book til that visa is in hand
