Next Steps - Vietnam K1 to 2 yr GG to 10yr GG???

Dear All,

My wife came here from Vietnam on a K1 visa. We married and she now has a 2 year GG (permanent resident). My understanding is that 90 days before GG expiration, we can apply for the 10yr GG. However, I checked the Guides for GG renewal and it talks about renewing a 10 yr GG and the notes state renewal for "conditional resident". Her GG says Permanent Resident not conditional resident.

Could someone advise on the next steps/forms for 2 yr GG to renew to 10 yr GG?

In addition, I heard she can apply for the US Citizenship after a total of 3 years on the US.

If she came as a K1 she almost definitely has a conditional greencard because you were married less then two year when you got AOS. You need to do a removal of conditions. check out the guides found at the top of the page. She can apply for citizenship 3 years (minus 90 day) following the date of her greencard.
