You can get married in Tunisia quickly and it does not require either one of you to get a visa first.

You just need a few days to get the paperwork in order, we were married within 4 days. There is some time needed afterwards though to get everything recorded properly in all the correct government offices/justice, etc. and to get the certified translations of everything for her to take back with her. We were there for 2 weeks that trip and got everything completed with time to go shopping! :)

Just make sure wherever you get married you know all the requirements ahead of time.

Best of Luck!

It took us 7 days to get married the first 3 days were long and then we waited 3 days for police interview after that it was easy, we got married and got our certificates back in 2 days total of 9 working days 11 if you include the weekend. Mind you all the translations were done ahead of time once I arrived I just showed the translator the originals documents and he released them, the medical peace was easy but getting all the stamps on the documents was an experience lol I was being crushed until I started speaking loudly in English and they knew I was saying get off of me and give me space. It can be done but the most frustrating task for us was the police interview we went there for 3 days straight and I finally refused to leave until I spoke to the Chief. Then he only asked questions about my military career not one question about our marriage. It helps if you avoid getting married in and around holidays.

Good luck,

It took us 2 weeks 2 days to get married in Morocco and we were very organized and basically sat in people's offices to make sure they were working our stuff first. Plan 3 weeks to be safe.
