Thanks, Yasi (F)

That sucks! What kind of company do you work for? We don't get Veteran's day but we get all the other holidays including the day after Thanksgiving, July 3 or 5 (floating holiday), 1/2 days the Friday before Memorial and Labor Days, 1/2 day on Good Friday, etc. The company I work for is great..the ppl I work with..eh.

That’s nice... we only get Memorial day, 4th of July, labor day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and I think New Year... but no floating days or personal days... This is a private company. He owns residential and commercial properties. I've been here for almost 8 months and am one of the property accountants. From what I have gathered he doesn't have a good "name" in the industry.

Hoping to change jobs. But I really like my manager... she has been great to me and very helpful.

And oh, we don't have any sick days.

what happened to VP? :(

Her member group is DISABLED! :o

i know! :(

I noticed that yesterday, but didn't know what it meant. I didn't want to invade her privacy by being the first to ask about it.

i invaded her privacy by asking? i did not ask a backhanded question nor post it hoping to stir anything up.

Not really a privacy issue since it's all public information anyway.

That's too bad, really. First iceyspots, now VP. :(

I considered it to be privacy issue because if she was merely temporarily suspended, I didn't want to be the one to point it out. Is it possible that member groups are disabled during suspensions, too?

No, that's the thing. As far as I'm aware, member group disabled means that the account has been deactivated at the request of the member.
