So this is my story in brief.

I had my CR-1 interview on 5th february at US embassy in Addis ababa, Ethiopia. and I had had very simple and easy interview as the CO was very friendly, I was only asked view questions like, where in the US your wife lives? what is her job? how did you meet for the first time? I answered all these questions comfortably, the CO then asked me if I had any evidence of relationship with me, so I provided call logs, email screenshots as well wedding and other photos, he looked at them and said these are more than enough and your case is very strong one, he then handed the sheet of in case of future domestic violence with my wife as well as a small paper with US immigration and Citizenship new fee of $165.00 over to me, at this point I was certain my case was approved but the CO said they still need a little bit of time to carry out additional administrative processing. he said your case is under AP.

I asked him if there was a time frame for that, and he said " I don't want to speculate, so this will probably take from few days to a month".

i was not asked to submit any additional documents he just said that they will give me a call when they are done with my case.

the CO also returned my original birth certificate and original marriage certificate plus the passport and said I will need a travel document and they will arrange that for me as my Somali passport was not eligible for a US visa.

anyone out there with similar experience?
