Hi all,

I've been lurking for a while and decided to register now to open a thread about our visa journey. I am German, my spouse is US citizen by naturalization originally from Banana Republic. I am the Alien!

Timeline:

2009: Met husband while on 2-year J1 in the US

2010: married

2011: Moved with spouse to Germany for my work after J1 expired

2012: Daughter was born, she is triple citizen GER, US, BR.

2012: We decided to move to Banana Republic to be closer to family and better job chances for spouse. Rented apartment, bought furniture etc in September

December 2012: Went to US for christmas holidays on VWP. Spouse spontaneously got a good job offer and decided he wanted to stay. I had also applied for US jobs previously but the plan was to go once I had a work visa. Since we didn't want to separate, we decided to file for AOS

vwp will expire on March 16th.

I have the package ready and am about to send it off any day now, but am a bit scared that I filled out something incorrectly.....

Regards

Ekos

No it's not, i just don't want to make it easy to google our names etc. Banana Republic is a beautiful country in Latin America.

without details of what you sent and the actual country no one will be able to help you out. Answers would be mere speculation

Sorry to say I actually googled Banana Republic thinking it was a country I had hitherto not heard of.
