Hello boards! First I want to thank the boards for all of the help over the years. I have used the boards to help with my wife and I. She is from Trinidad. Anyway, I am about to file for my 14 year old step-daughter who has been here on an overstay for 7 years. Now that my wife is permanent resident we are ready to file for her. I will be the petitioner and my wife (mother to step daughter) house hold member on the I864. Here is what I have gathered thus far:

I File I-130 for stepdaughter.

After that we will be contacted and will file I-864 and the I-864A

Once approved we then file I-485 for adjustment.

Can we file anything together? Anything I am missing?

Thanks so much!!

Since the child is already in the US - file AOS (I-130, I-485). You file all together, not separately.

Moving to AOS from tourist, student, work visa forum.

Thanks so much!! Then we will file the i864 at a later date?

No your supposed to file it all together. At the same time in the same package. Not later. Form I-864 is part of the I-485 package.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
