What month are most applications sent?

So I've been thinking February is probably the month most people send in K1's due to people getting engaged on Valentines Day. Then again it probably takes them till March to read up on the process and actually send it off, so am I right in assuming that april/may applicants are going to end up with the longest wait while the service centres struggle with the load of feb/march applicants? Contrastingly which months applicants are mostly likely to be the quickest approved? I know the processing times depend on many variables but if we are just solely focusing on volume of applicants?

December has the highest number of engagements. Google it.

Well I dont think there are any official numbers released but my guess would be during the summer and in December/January!?!

Many K-1 filers are in a long distance relationship and in order to propose they have to be together which make the summer vacation and christmas time probably the busiest months in terms of proposals. But that would just be my wild guess.

You are thinking wrong. Fiancee visas peak in summer and early fall, after the traditional summer vacation time. You have to visit the fiancee first. Winter is the lowest amount of filings. In the long run it makes no difference really. They are still processing petition from last summer.

Indeed, summer is the busiest. During winter, many of the places like Russia, England, Canada, Japan, and China (part of it) are cold. That is not the most popular time for folks to get together. Late Spring, Summer and Early Fall-that is travel time.
