I've always wondered how a myth so clearly erroneous can have so much lasting power among RWNs. Even when they personally know Democrats who work and pay taxes and own property, the myth persists. It's mind boggling but it does explain why they nominate losers over and over again.

Thing is that by and large blue states support red states. Democrats feed Republicans. And they go around pretending that up is down and front is back. It's an awesome state of delusion that has captured enough Americans to keep Republicans somewhat relevant.

Well, it's more than that. I don't do what I do for a living, get paid what I get paid just because I think I can think. But hey, whatever makes you feel better. Fact is Republicans are stupid. They are waging a war on common sense, on science and on reason. There's a growing number of people even within the Republican party saying this very publicly. Bobby Jindal and Karl Rove just very recently. The GOP is the stupid party. That's a fact.
