So I can't seem to find my 2 year green card...I remember I took it out of my wallet after I got my DL because I didn't wanna lose it somewhere and now I just can't find it!!!Anyway I have biometrics scheduled for 2/15.I didn't expect it so quickly I onl got my NOA 1 last week!Does that mean I won't be receiving an RFE ?? According to the notice a driving license will be ok for the biometrics and they won't require a green card. My question is when should I expect to be scheduled for an interview and will my 2 year green card be required at the interview. Also how long after that should I receive my new card??? I'm asking because two of my friends never really got theirs several months after the interview. I understand you receive some sort of letter stating your green card is extended so you can travel with your expired one. I am planning to go see my parents in Bulgaria in September and I wanna make sure I will have a green card to travel with by then.

The NOA1 is the letter that states your green card has been extended.

NOA1 has nothing to do with not getting an RFE, you can get an RFE at ANY point in time even at or after an interview.

Did you not include a copy front and back of the green card with the petition? It is a requirement.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I do have copy of the card's front and back. It was included in the package cI want to know if I will need the actual card for the interview. And the chances to get my new card ready by September when I plan to travel. I was expecting an RFE for insufficient evidence really. Thanks

I think whether you'll get your new card by September is something no one can answer to. Depends on how backlogged is your office. If it is really really backlogged you will not get your new card by September. If they are doing great, then you might have it by that time. Also, interviews are really scarce for ROC applications...so don't expect it. But I don't know if those who went to interview needed their green card or not...Good luck!

ROC is taking 7-9 months. If you are really at Vermont, like your profile says (though it may be old from K-1 visa) then no, I don't think you'll have it in time for travel in Sept.

I'd call around to find the old card. Maybe you left it at the DMV.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
