do you mean we have to receive notifications via email even if we dont have website account ?

EDIT: sorry! I don't make sense tonight.

Nope, if they didn't have your email adress before they couldn't send you a mail, but if you put the form for updates via emails and text, they probably had it.

2 different website updates (now that I re-read your post correctly, sorry for that) could mean 2 RFEs almost at once, even if it is strange and apparently not the normal procedure.

But adjudicator are human after all. The guy can have gone through your case, see something missing, sent you an RFE. And 2 days after that, working on another case that misses somthing else thinks : "oh no, I didn't check that in the case 2 days ago, maybe it is missing too... yep it is... ok, second RFE"... Or you know, something like that.

But if you really want to know, you can call USCIS. They should hopefully be able to tell you if just one or 2 RFE were sent to you. (Or else, I don't see why they even bother to pay people to answer the phone)

my fiance just called the customer service and told them the story, they said it is then probably two RFE's .

they don't even know for sure? blink.gifblink.gifwow.gifWhy are they paying people that are not able to give any usefull, certain and trustworthy information? Why not get rid of that useless service and have more adjudicators? I just don't get it.

Sorry again that I misread your post... I hadn't seen the website was updated twice, this is why I was thinking just one....headbonk.gif

Most likely because you spoke to a tier 1 human. Tier 1 humans basically can't say anything you didn't already know. Always ask to be transferred to a tier 2 operator if you want to get somewhere. The first ones can see the same case status as you and then they can read from their manual. That is, if they want to - otherwise you'll be fed off with "well, maybe it IS 2 RFE's".

Maybe the adjudicator thought they'd forgotten to update case status and did it twice without thinking about it. Maybe you were sent the latest action on your case when signing up recently and therefor got 2 mails. Maybe I think it's better to wait around for the hardcopy in the mail and take it from there :)

Even if it is 2 RFE's, don't stress too hard. Just take care of it, send it back in. You'll probably have your approval within 2 weeks of their having received the requested information or document. Good luck & let us know when you hear! It'll be fine.

I am not sure if they had my fiance's email but, anyways even if two rfe's what matters is the outcome the approval. Should we wait a week before we send our response to CSC, so we make sure there is no other rfe ?

thnx
