Hubby scanned our NOA2s. The notices came from NBC.

Although our files were most definitely at Charleston Field Office as the counter guy physically went back and looked at them when I was at the InfoPass appointment with hubby last month.

My thought process is that KDH’s theory is right. I don’t think the field offices have access to a particular computer system as our NOID never made it into the system. So, once they approved the file, it got sent to NBC to issue the notice and for forwarding to NVC.

I wish my file could talk to me.

As a spin off from the other thread...I thought we could talk about, well, being jaded and how frustrating this random processing times are rather than grumble in the other threads.

I've only been waiting for about 45 days now. But it's still frustrating. I can't believe how up in the air the whole process is. I will have been in Canada for 4 years on June 1st. It's getting old. I want to move back to California . To make matters worse, my mother had a stroke this week, so now I feel guilty I'm not there to help her out yet. Grr.

I just about spit out my coffee this morning when bsd congratulated someone who finally got their NOA2 after two whole months!!…

and then I see Nola’s comment above and I am picturing something like 50 Shades of Grey.

I knew. I am appreciative of the people who get their approvals with some grace and consideration for others, especially when it was such a short time frame.

I found out last night by talking to an ISO that my I-130 was transferred to the Houston field office and then transferred BACK to the NBC a week before it was finally approved. What's up with THAT?

Also, no NVC number yet. Urgh.

That's normal, IMO. The field office finished up with adjudication, sent it back to MSC cause that's where it came from. I dunno, must be some internal casefile tracking stuff at MSC that the local offices cannot do, so it makes sense to send it back to MSC.

I don't understand why Hartford is not freaking adjudicating my case.

Seriously, other offices ( besides Atlanta) seem to have it together.
