No. I went with senator first since he's some fancy pants big wig in the senate.

Who is more sympathetic? Democrats or Republicans?

I don't think it matters, to be honest and I think it has more to do with their individual personalities and whether they hire someone to deal with immigration issues.

Ya, IMO, what matters is IF the Immigration Liason Staffer in that office has been doing the work of an ILS for some time. A recent hire would scare me, regardless of the tenure of the elected official.

Yeah! Anger!!! RAWR RAWR RAWR

I'm angry because I could have put my Canadian address and been approved by now.

Everyone's advice was incorrect.

Put in your Canadian address? Sorry if the question seems obvious but this process is baffling to me at times :hehe:

I check the case status atleast 5 times a day. Once I open the website and before I enter my case number, I found this in red color.

Expect a 30-45-day delay between when your application or petition is filed and when your information is available in Case Status Online, depending on the volume of applications USCIS receives.

Does it mean the whole application process will be delayed depending on the volume????

Our I-130 is only around 11 weeks but today I found some December filer got approval. Happy for them but :( for myself.

That was a myth. We put in our Canadian address and it didn't change anything. We changed it to the US after she moved back, though.
