We had our interview for our son and daughter today, interview was in Manila. The petition was for an IR-2 Visa immigrant to USA. Now the interview was successful and was approved, but we were not given the visa and was told:

"wait until you hear from us: ur case requires further administrative process/review. wait for a letter telling you when to return to the embassy"

My kids went through a tough time at the St. Lukes medical exam! Took 5 months for their medical to be cleared. And now after their visa was approved we have to wait again?

Can anyone please tell us how long we have to wait for this process and also tell us what this process is all about.

Me and my wife are very desperate for some answers so please help us. Thank you in advance for all your input.

No one can tell you how long your AP will be for.

Could be days, weeks, even months.

In some rare cases, over a year.

Call every week to find out what the status of you AP is.
