Hello everyone,

I just want to share this with y'all guys. This makes me feel im in a roller coaster ride -- i am in mixed emotion: happy, surprised, somewhat confused, but more in happy mode (lol) such a wonderful feeling.

My husband filed the petition for me in Dec. 23. The USCIS received it in Dec. 26, then After 5 days, he got an Acceptance Confirmation from the USCIS via email. Come January 4, we got the NOA1 in the mailbox. If you could just imagine how it made us smile and laugh from ear to ear - as we all know this starts the processing of the case.

Last night, i feel different.. I just feel something that i need to do but i couldnt explain it. I finally decided to check my online status and to my surprise, it says im on POST DECISION ACTIVITY -- means my case is approved!

We are on the real deal of getting the visa now. Oh my gosh! I just got too excited that i was not able to sleep. I waited for my husband to wake up and spill the beans as part of his breakfast. He couldnt even believe it. He had a healthy breakfast - mind, heart and body! Plus, he had his signature smile that i couldnt wipe out ..

Thank you VJ citizen for the utmost help. I will update you guys everytime theres a new pacing on my case.

God bless to all. And hopefully y'all get what you are waiting and hoping for.

CHEERS!

Hi VJ mate,

No, we did not file an expedite, my husband is not either in military, he is just a plain US citizen :)

We did not live together here in Philippines, he visited me thrice now and the last visit was when we got married where it lasted for 3 weeks.

When he gets back to the US, we waited for almost 2 months before we file the petition for me, we just feel doing it :)

And sorry, it shouldnt be Texas but California Service Center.. I edited it now.. Thank you for telling me.

And thanks for the wishes. I am praying more for this journey to be succesful and so as the rest of the VJcitizens here.

Goodluck to us all.

god bless.

Does your receipt start with MSC?

It should. And if it does, then your service center should be the National Benefits Center.

Also, what is your local field office?

Or what major city do you live by?

Wow. This is very confusing.

I wonder if they're sending petitions to California again now that they're almost caught up.

KDH, I read on the USCIS website somewhere (some internal document that they posted) that the transfer of cases to the field offices was intended to be temporary and that they were going to have the service centers resume processing their own cases early in 2013. My uninformed guess is that they are doing lots of training at the service centers (whether they actually did lots of hiring I don't know) and we can expect some random cases to be used for that, too.

I know it was all intended to be temporary, but Vermont better not start getting petitions again.

I'm going to tell you something scary KDH, and I want you to promise not to freak out.

When I contacted the Senator's aid last week, she said she had been talking to Vermont about my case and would contact them for an update. Maybe she just made a little mistake, but I have this sinking feeling...

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Nola, I have a feeling she has been calling Vermont nonstop for other people and it just slipped out that way. Don't worry unless you know there's something to worry about; asking the aide if she really meant "Vermont" might help.
