Fingers crossed you wont get into too much trouble about registering to vote. Have you spoken to an attorney about it?

Since I am an attorney, I suppose I have spoken to one. It seems from my research that the only time this is a big problem is if you had ticked 'no' to the register to vote question and than after-the-fact explain away the situation. They consider such an omission a lie and deny you based on "moral character" or some such logic. In our case, we revealed the situation, sent copies of letters we mailed to the registration board having her removed from the voting rolls and records indicating she had in fact never voted.

Are you an immigration attorney?

The registering to vote has been used against people as a false-claim to US citizenship. It is not the voting alone that matters, its also the registering to vote that is a problem, because registering to vote is a USC thing only. It depends a lot on HOW the application came about. For example if the drone at the DMV auto-ticked it, or if you physically did it yourself.

Just received email and text that the case has been updated: "On April 11, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken, etc..."

Ooooo! Good movement! I still don't have my NOA1. Even though it says "received on 8 April" I believe it wasn't actually processed till yesterday 4/10 so my "priority date" will be 4/8 but the date the letter is sent 4/10.

Received hardcopy NOA today: notice date 4/4, priority date 4/2.

I assume the notice date, not the priority date is what we enter into our tracking table?

Personally, no I would put the priority date, as that's the date the application was added to the system, just no-one sent your letter until 4/4 (like saying your file was opened on 4/2 and they only sent your receipt 4/4 so everything is based on when your file was "opened"). That's what I'm leaving mine as anyway.

Looks like I made a mistake on Part 8 Section G - How many times has your current spouse been married? - I put 0.

Our marriage together is our only marriage and I just put how many times she had previously been married instead and not including our marriage.

Did I just blow $680 or can this be explained in person at the interview or is such a thing as sending an amendment?

I'm almost 100% sure it will be fine. I'm sure you're not the first to make that mistake. i had to ask a couple of people if they thought the question meant "excluding your current one".

I'll bet that can be fixed at the interview (if it needs to at all because obviously your "current spouse" is married to you :)) plus it's not a material misrep issue :)
