My wife got her oath letter today. August 26th in Elkins, NOT October 25th in our home town, as she was told in the interview. So instead of a ten minute walk, we've got a three hour drive. I'm not happy about the drive, but I'll be glad to have everything finished.

Congrats! Wonder if something similar will happen to me too. I agree the drive will suck but that it'll be good to be done :D

My wife Jenalyn successfully passed her interview in Philly on Monday afternoon. A bit of a wait as they appeared to be short-staffed and very busy, she "went behind the door" at 4:00 for her 3:00 appointment. Interviewer was nice and even said sorry for making her wait. Interview took about 20 minutes. We turn around and go back to Philly for the oath ceremony this Friday, the 9th.

May 12 2008 Received letter from NVC MNL2008xxxxxx
May 19 2008 Paid Delbros fee at Metrobank
May 20 2008 First day of medical
May 21 2008 Told to return for sputum test

Congratulations to all who have passed the interview stage and have either become citizens or are in line for their oath ceremonies. I had my interview this morning and I was in and out before I knew it. Glad to be done with the interview. I was recommended for approval. I have a short review of my interview in my timeline. My naturalization was based on a five year green card so I was not asked to take any documents except for my green card and passports.
