N-400 April 2013 Filers

Hi guys, i just got an email stating "On June 6, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview.You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview." Will june 6th be my interview letter date here in our timeline at visa journey? Or i have to wait until I will receive my letter with the place and time of my interview in mail?

I think you're right here as well, based on the timeline, I've noticed a pattern with filers with very early eligibility dates like yours. You guys are placed 'in line' and being scheduled for interviews way earlier than folks like me. bummer. lol Edited June 7, 2013 by Azure30

So eligibility date matters a lot!!!!

Yeah. USCIS entered you into their system on the very day you became eligible. You sent your application in 3 days before your eligibility date. You probably factored in how much time it would take the mail to get it there. You haven't lost a day at all in you being eligible! lol lol You're on the ball!

I mailed mine the day I became eligible, so they received it 3 days after I think. Should've done what you did. lol lol but I didn't want to risk it. I was a coward. lol lol

I sure did!! I made sure they received it exactly the day I was eligible. If I knew this was going to put be on the bottom of the list; I would have waited a bit! But I would like to file for my mother as she isn't getting any younger so that's the reason for my rush.

Doesn't matter about being processed at the bottom of this list. Either way, i think the USCIS timeline says it takes no more than 5-6 months? I'm thinking that by September I should be done with USCIS, and by Thanksgiving I should be done with everything with passport in hand.

Hi everyone! Can someone please update my info. Got my interview letter in the mail today 06/07/13. Notice date was 06/03/13. My actual interview date is on July 08, 2013.
